- Hospital @ Night
The ‘Hospital at Night’ project has seen the Department of Health, British Medical Association and Royal College of Nursing working together. They have gathered evidence from 20,000 clinical incidents across 11 trusts and found that a significant proportion of night work is non-urgent - it could be done during daytime shifts. Cutting the amount of junior doctors' unnecessary tasks could also halve their workload.
