Details of the Request

I am making a Freedom of Information request under the FOIA 2000. Please provide, in an excel spreadsheet, the following information relating to the Trust's expenditure on Interim managers.

By interim managers we mean any manager who is referred to as "interim" or "temporary" in the trust Annual Report.

For each individual interim manager, please provide:

  1. The name, position within the trust, and the recruitment firm associated with the interim manager.
  2. The total amount paid for the services of the interim manager, and for how many months' work.
  3. Out of the money paid for the individual's services, how much of that money went to the recruitment firm (i.e. was not part of the interim manager's salary).
  4. Please could you provide the information from the five previous financial years up to 2014/2015 in Excel format
  5. In a seperate data set, please could you provide how much has been spent this year up to the present date (4/2/16) in Excel format

 

Details of the Response

1. The name, position within the trust, and the recruitment firm associated with the interim manager.

The Trust holds this information, but considers it is exempt under section 21 of the Act, as it is reasonably accessible to you by other means. The annual reports do not really differentiate between the type of worker disclosed i.e. doctor, manager etc. They do however show the remuneration of Board members and senior managers with significant financial responsibility. 2. The total amount paid for the services of the interim manager, and for how many months' work.

* The Trust holds the requested information, but considers it is exempt under section 12 of the Act, as the cost of compliance is estimated to exceed the appropriate limit. We have not kept any separate record of these and it would take us more than the allotted to time to go through purchase invoices for all periods requested to identify who the individual was and then to find out what role they were covering, the total spend and length of time employed.

 

3. Out of the money paid for the individual's services, how much of that money went to the recruitment firm (i.e. was not part of the interim manager's salary).

4. Please could you provide the information from the five previous financial years up to 2014/2015 in Excel format

5. In a seperate data set, please could you provide how much has been spent this year up to the present date (4/2/16) in Excel format

The Trust holds this information, but considers it is exempt under section 22 of the Act as it is intended for future publication in the Annual Accounts for 2015/16 on the Trust’s Website in July.
